We strive to excel at services that are second-to-none. The Nurse staff is closely involved in the interviews, screening, and ongoing training of each caregiver-employee. We require each employee to have the skills, the experience, and the fundamental knowledge that is involved in providing quality care visits to Seniors. In addition, Tender Hearts requires a full testing range of drug screening, Ohio fingerprint reports, and all the local, state, and federal background checks available. Consequently, all our employees are fully insured and bonded.

The start of a Care Visit plan and schedule is one of the primary functions of the RN care managers. A live assessment visit by the nurse is the first step, to determine the personal needs and requirements of the Senior. This face-to-face visit enables the nurse to create a custom “Care Plan”, and it provides the detail the nurse needs to select the best caregiver for the Senior’s personal situation. In addition, our nurses make periodic home visits to ensure that we are delivering the care that meets the expectations of the families, and the standards of our company.
